I live in Hampshire with my husband (Andy) and a rather large fluffy cat. Together we run a creative services business. Andy is a children's book illustrator and I am a horticulturalist, artist and garden designer. At Clare Catling Wildlife-Friendly Garden Design, I believe that designing a garden is part of a holistic process and the garden is part of the wider ecosystem. With an eye for detail and a passion for hard work, I ensure that every aspect of your desire for your outdoor space comes to life. I have many years experience as a horticulturalist, as you can see from the photo. I started professional gardening at the age of 25, recently completing a Garden Design Advanced Award at Sparsholt College with a distinction. My degree is in design and animation so creating rhythm and colour throughout the changing seasons is of particular interest to me. Just like an animation the garden is in a state of constant movement with the flow of natures seasons.
